Locally, wear layer thicknesses start at 0.3mm for residential purposes and escalate up to 0.55 mm for more commercial applications. Most quality products include a bonded acoustic layer underneath, of variable qualities and performance, which improves underfoot comfort, reduces sound and has thermo-insulation properties.
Wanabiwood’s Desire SPC range is a click system, resilient SPC with an anti-bacterial and UV coating. Fit for commercial use, it has a 0.55mm wear layer, 15 year warranty and a plank size of 219.2 x 228.6 x 5mm. There are eight colour options available.
